ONE DAY I'll FLY AWAY

It was a short three days in Tioman but it was so fun and beautiful. Jw said that three days were too much for her when she went there with her cousins. I guess it boils down to the company you're going with.

I dont ever want to forget;
the turquoise waters, schools of fishes, snorkelling together, soft white sand, pink sunset, stars like a picture from an astronomical chart, stray kittens, strong sea breezes, friendly divers, pitch-black forest, bonfire, icy beer, chilling at the balcony, etc.

The night when we were lying down on the jetty and looking up at the stars, we all wished for the same thing; for the moment to last forever.

I had a traitorous dream last night. But life would be so much easier for the people around me.
I ought to be striked by lightning for entertaining such thoughts. Oh life. GAH!

This week-

Career Fair is finally over. I'm seeing SWD in a different light. I now take all of their words with a grain of salt.

I got debarred from FYP Module, of all the shit... I hope the committee delivering the final verdict will approve of my appeal.
If I somehow don't get through this, I honestly don't know what crazy thing I'd do.

The sedatives I took for my insomnia are more powerful that I thought. I got drowsy within 10 minutes. I tried to type my goodbyes in the msn convos. I only found out from my friends the next day that it was all gibberish. Lol.

Today was totally fucked up. The first thing I woke up and I was already in trouble for not being in school earlier on a non-school day. I cabbed down to school immediately. Its hard to the face the music when they're still pretending to be nice. At least thats what it seemed like to me. Gargh, I wish I have more energy and motivation to carry out what's expected of me. I feel so lethargic nowadays. And its really annoying how people keep telling me to sleep more when there's obviously so much more to finish.

I need to declare this to reassure myself. That blardy banner wasn't done by me. It's hard to organize info with aesthetics when other people wants "this and that big big, later not clear." and "russell says..." FUCK THAT SHIT. ITS SO FUCKING UGLY. I guess she hasn't realized that russel is, in fact, one of the shittiest nafa lecturers. I want to tell them not to tell anyone that the poster was done by me now that the event banner is turning out like that.

My Designer's Patience needs to be cultivated. Sigh.

Its not everyday that you suddenly make a new friend on the train! I did, but we didn't exchange numbers because we were both in a hurry. Damn, she seemed like such a nice person too. I really wanna thank her again for the Usabichi thingy. She alighted in Woodlands too, oh well, if we have affinity then we'll meet again~

Yesterday's outing at East Coast was teh epic. I literally ripped Hes's clothes apart in public, unintentionally. I'm so sorry!!! She almost kena sexposed! HAHAHA. Anyway, I think I sort of ruined my image and am now known as a useless schizo to certain people. Which I really am sometimes.

Zoo yesterday with SWD and some from the photography club. It was BORING. It seems as if many animals have disappeared, or have shifted to the Night Safari. But the otters were damn cute. <3 After a long hike, Hes, Su, Syah and I just took continuous tram rides circling the entire zoo, we all slept on the tram. We got tired of it so we decided to leave first via cab. For some uncanny reason, I managed to lose my footing and tripped over the taxi stand bench. I was sprawled unglamourously on the ground with a twisted ankle, with my oh-so-wonderful friends doubling over in laughter. Thanks guys. -__-; Biting back the sharp pain, I quickly climbed into the cab.
Me: "UNCLE, TO HOSPITAL PLEASE."
Friends: "ROFL NO!"
They were all sniggering at me throughout the ride.  
In the end we just headed over to Cine to watch some disney film with a really predictable storyline. Lol.

 

Instead of rushing for tomorrow's submission, I am currently surfing fashion channels. PAH! My grades are slipping I know, my design direction is lost. No consistancy despite my trying to salvage it. The more I think about it, the more I hate what I'm doing. I am the epitome of my FYP topic- Stress. I should just display an A1 picture of my resigned expression and overlap my face with 'Don't end up like her' in bold. That might even work, if it weren't for the publication requirement.

Terence class. I am almost positive that tomorrow is going to suck.

I didn't watch the film Milk, its not released locally yet. However, I'm glad Sean Penn won the Oscars. 'BOUT TIME!! He's a darn good actor, one with the real skill to move his audience. I am quite immune to tearjerkers however, he made me cry a river watching I am Sam. (its kinda like Forrest Gump) What he said on the thanks speech made me very proud though I'm not sure how much I agree on his stand but the truth in his words simply summoned acknowledgement.

Why am I talking about Oscars when I should be rushing for my assessments. OKAY BACK TO WORK.
I am so behind time, been thinking about everything except FYP... I feel kind of stupid. *is in a slum*

Library dept just called, I had a bit of explaining to do. Argh jeez.

There was a thief there yesterday, because he was holding something when he made his escape from the foyer.
A bunch of people shot out from the lobby after him but they couldn't catch up. You should see the way the security guards ran.
Suspect ran non-stop all the way to Peace Centre direction, but the guards were hesitant about runing across an empty road to Sunshine plaza. Cops came but too late.
The NAFA staff were quite useless, if they'd shouted "STOP THIEF!"
At least 10 of us sitting at the foyer benches or EVEN the students smoking across at Sunshine could've at least blocked his way to hinder his escape. Whole school vs 1 man, sure faster right. Morons.

I like dogs. Mom doesnt.
She told me an incident that occurred in china, it was on the papers a couple of days ago.
It really chilled me to the bone, and my beehoon with extra ketchup for breakfast looked completely replulsive.
Deeply unfortunate and tragic la.

I basically reduced into one of the many screaming rabid fangirls everytime he stuck out his tongue while playing.
They didn't play the entire tracklist of IOH so I thought I wouldn't be able to hear an old favourite live tonight. But they actually placed Dance Dance on the encore!! ;DD
Patrick's live singing has improved!

I went with Aviel. He said I killed his ears. HAHA
His classmate who happened to be standing near us said I was singing and dancing. Lol, was I !?
The mosh pit wasn't that bad as compared to CityAlive and Zouk F&E. 
Some people who elbowed and bumped me were at least polite about it.
I screamed so hard that my voice sounds funny now.

Today's Vibrancy performance was, by our standards, a disaster. LOL
However, we accomplished it all in the name of fun.
Saw many people who I dont usually see today during the event line-up.  (:
Hung out with zul anna and jx for sheesha.
It was raining bulls and lions today. Got soaked to my toes despite carrying an umbrella.  :/

Hung out with Jx and Anna today. All I can say is, today's events have been rather interesting. Lol.

Cos Challenge ovarrr! I seriously thought I wouldnt be able to make it in time. My accumulated nights of staying awake finally gave way to my weariness on the final night before the event.

I still find it funny that Fir actually recognized me! He was there with the anime symphonic band. He recognized XT first, her voice actually gave it away la, then I urned away from his angle. Several minutes later, he was staring at me so I quickly turned away and he shouted shrilly "ANGELINE!"

"ANGELINEEEEE! HAHAHAH!"

The day ended on a happy ride home on XT dad's pick-up. We were still in our costumes! Yah, my silver hair was flying like mad. I think I can reuse the wig for a Squalo cosplay. Just a thought.



I rushed home and rushed out again for Cityalive. They turned the whole stretch of road in front of the old parliament house into a huge clubbing ground. Awesome disco lighting, groovy music remixes, and of course, greeaaat dancers. All the cyphering was so dope. Km and his friend were about to enter the ring when it suddenly disbanded. HAHA !
There was a girl who was cyphering inside, her moves were SICK. I mean this in a good way. Her style was pure hip hop and she hit the beats hard. Maannn, if only I can move like that............................. AAAHHHHHHHH I WNA IMPROVEEEEE!! Why can't I dance welllll!

Too late for NR, so hitched a ride back with Hester and ended up staying over. I woke up with her dog, Jingles, sleeping on my chest. Lol. Damn cute la he.


Reality of FYP is sinking back in. I can't find my proposal anywhere and we have Terrence tomorrow. I'm in deep shit.

Tonight is going to be the biggest challenge for us. Heck with muscle spasms and feet blisters. It will all go well definitely!!

Wooh, an update in a long time! ITS XMAS NAOO! XDD

First of all, I love working for Mark even tho I do not get to do what I want most of the time. The point is, I like my working environment, the people there are really cool and super friendly. Mark, CK (Jean's still holidaying in Tasmania) and I were supposed to have gone fabric shopping in Geylang, along with a guy from White Room who knows the directions. Ah Hui.
That beng, despite having to meet us in the morning, he went clubbing all night and only returned in the morning all worn out. Smart.
SO, there was no work today and none on Boxing Day either, on my request! XD
Then, met up with Gerard. He gave me log cake and lotsa stuff. Yay! And I gave him something from Muji.
Then there was the bbq at my house. The satays I peng-ed were awesome much.
After that, Aviel, Kai and I chilled out in Joyce's room practising our basic and baby freezes. I finally saw Aviel's air freeze. Awesome~
Then Greg came in handing out stuff to all the cousins with all their names on it. Everyone. Jimmy, Vanessa and Yvonne all received one each even though they barely exhange words with Greg. And guess what, my name wasn't in any of the little wrapped up packages!
He was like "Lol. I think I forgot to include you leh."
"You're kidding! NB!"
But he had a couple of extras and then wrote my name on the ornamental peg so all is forgiven hahaha.
Then we went for the midnight mass, only a few of us. The choir was baaaaadd. It didn't sound like a choir but merely a group of people singing terribly. Stark contrast to the previous years'.
Lol Fr Terrence said in gospel interpretation that, we should forget the romantic ideas of xmas and get real. Hmm. He has a point for where he's coming from, but still, a rather subjective judgement.
In all, this xmas eve was kinda well-spent.

I guess I can't make it to Teck Leng's mom's funeral tomorrow due to family commitments. I think it'd be weird even if I showed up anyway, we never really talked much to each other back in AI. It must suck, totally, to lose your mom a few yrs right after you lost your dad, on xmas eve no less. 
Life's really unpredictable, we should all cherish our loved ones and never take anyone for granted.
